THE LAND

On Thanksgiving weekend in 2014, we said 'goodbye' to life in Orange County and moved our new family to the Sierra Foothills.  

In 2015, we chose to purchase a parcel of land in Springfield, an unincorporated community located just outside the Columbia State Historic Park.  

In 2016, we began the process of designing our farmhouse, plotting the vineyard, and waiting patiently. 

ABOUT US

John is a father to John III, farmer and investment advisor in Murphys, CA. He received his undergraduate degree from Biola University and his Masters in Theology from Fuller Seminary. 

Sarah is a mother to John III, homemaker, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mark Twain Medical Center in Calaveras County. She received her undergraduate degree from Biola University and her Masters in Social Work from USC.

John III was born on October 28, 2014. He is our joy and blessing. He enjoys wrestling his dog Abbey, picking tomatoes from our garden, and cheering for Lewis Hamilton despite his parent’s wishes.
